The Hearth at Drexel Assisted Living is the new home of the historic Mary J. Drexel Home, part of the Liberty Lutheran family of services since 2008.

TBS Services assisted Wohlsen Construction in performing field testing of a selective sampling of the newly installed windows to evaluate the installed performance of the selected fenestration products for air leakage resistance and water penetration resistance under controllable, reproducible and appropriate conditions. Window test methods employed included the following:

  • AAMA 502-02, Voluntary Specification for Field Testing of Windows and Sliding Glass Doors, Test Method A.
  • ASTM E783-02 (2010), Standard Test Method for Field Measurement of Air Leakage Through Installed Exterior Windows and Doors.
  • ASTM E1105-00 (2008), Standard Test Method for Field Determination of Water Penetration of Installed Exterior Windows, Skylights, Doors, and Curtain Walls, by Uniform or Cyclic Static Air Pressure Difference.
