This 3-story medical office building earned a Silver Certification rating from the U. S. Green Building Council’s LEED. (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program.
The structure was specifically designed to reduce water runoff and energy usage, and exceeds various Energy and Water Consumption requirements for LEED credits.
The building’s water quality is handled in bio-retention swales, grass lined swales and a green roof.
TBS provided peer review of the construction documents which culminated in a redirection of the delivery method for the building from convention constriction techniques, to offsite penalization. TBS provided construction contract administrative services throughout the construction of the exterior enclosure components.
