Based upon criteria specified within The College of New Jersey’s (TCNJ) RFP, which included fees, range of services proposed, firm’s ability to meet current and anticipated requirements of the College, response to requirements, experience and references, effective July 1 2009 TBS Services, Inc. was pre-qualified by TCNJ to provide on-call professional consulting services for Architectural Services.
To date TBS Services has been engaged by TCNJ in accordance with our on-call professional services contract to perform building roof assessments at seven buildings. The purpose of the assessments is to investigate the existing conditions at the building roofs and provide a report outlining our findings and recommendations for the necessary remedial work of the existing roof systems and associated components. Included within the scope of the roof assessments is an investigation/ evaluation of the existing roof structures to determine the reserve capacity that may be used for the additional loads imposed by a possible future solar panel system retrofit.
The preliminary recommendations outlined within our assessment reports, which will serve as the basis of the design and documentation.
