This brand-new environmentally sustainable building, (designed to achieve LEED Silver status), contains 56 child-friendly examination rooms, as well as rooms dedicated to radiology, hearing and vision testing, and a phlebotomy laboratory, along with many behavioral health services.

The new center, located at 48th & Market Streets in West Philadelphia, has the capacity to accommodate more than 45,000 outpatient visits a year.

The Karabots Center is a two-story steel-framed structure, with exterior walls of brick, block and limestone veneer, and glass curtain wall. The building has a low-sloped EPDM roof and a small portion of flat seamed metal roof.

TBS Services was engaged by Brawer & Hauptman Architects to provide building envelope documentation review and consultation, as well as pre-construction and construction administration services.
