Constructed in 1984, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is operated by the Nemours Foundation, which is a non-profit organization founded by Alfred I. duPont. It is a pediatric hospital offering intensive and acute inpatient and outpatient services.
The hospital is currently undergoing a large addition to expand the Emergency Department and additional inpatient beds. Roof ‘D’ is over the main hospital building and Admin 2 roof is located over the administration offices, a small wing off the main building.
Our proposal was for the professional services required to survey, design and document the removal of the existing modified bitumen membrane system and the installation of an EPDM membrane roof system, at Roof ‘D’ and the removal and replacement of the EPDM membrane roof system at Admin 2 roof.
