The Coatesville Courtyard by Marriott is a new 125-room, four-story, Marriott hotel designed with an exterior primarily consisting of EIFS cladding. The hotel is the first in the Delaware Valley to feature Marriott’s new Courtyard makeovers which feature an open, bright, and contemporary new design, incorporating 1,100 sf of meeting space.
TBS Services was engaged to review the construction documentation, architectural drawings and specification sections associated with the EIFS components of the building; and to provide independent third-party inspections and testing, along with contract administration during construction of those components.
TBS’ scope included site inspections to determine that construction was performed in accordance with the EIFS manufacturer’s requirements along with the contract documents.
IMC Construction also engaged TBS for Quality Assurance testing to verify the EIFS adhesion, and the weather tightness of the fenestration system.
