Our approach to every project begins with an understanding of the goals, identifying challenges both in design or construction, and developing solutions that are practical while reducing future maintenance costs over the building life-cycle.
Through both technical reviews and development of project specific construction documents, drawings & specifications, we seek to clearly define the building enclosure strategy focusing on complex areas of systems integration & constructibility to ensure the building enclosure will meet or exceed the project requirements and perform according to the established goals.
tbs’s assistance during the review of building envelope-related shop drawings and technical submittals ensures compliance with the contract documents.
Our approach includes direct and substantive participation in a construction process through attendance at pre-construction/installation meetings, on-site construction observation, and the preparation of field reports. This establishes the process for timely identification and remediation of hidden, or unanticipated conditions in the field, envelope-related product or installation defects, and non-conforming work.
