Our primary focus is the design and evaluation of building enclosure systems for both new and existing buildings and the assessment, investigation, analysis, and rehabilitation of existing building enclosure systems.
We have remained true to our heritage of providing practical and constructible solutions for more than twenty years while consistently enhancing our expertise and experience to keep pace with the changing and increasingly sophisticated science of the building enclosure.

Meet Our Leadership
Joe DeAngelis
Joe DeAngelis is a Registered Architect in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Delaware with formal degrees in Architecture as well as Civil Engineering, bringing a diverse and unique skill set to each project. He has experience with a broad range of building enclosure components including the investigation, repair, design, and rehabilitation of projects ranging from below grade waterproofing systems to glazing systems and has an intimate understanding of the complexities of project development and building design, drawing on his prior years at architectural design firms.
Joe has also been a Commissioning Team member for Building Enclosure Commissioning as part of enhanced commissioning on new construction projects. He has experience with project types ranging from existing building renovations to the design and construction of new structures for governmental, educational, and commercial clients. In addition, Joe has been responsible for code analysis, programming, design, construction documentation, and construction administration for many of these projects. Joe is a US Green Building Council Certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP), and formerly served as co-chair of the Philadelphia Chapter of the AIA's Building Enclosure Council.
Brian Anderson
Brian Anderson has over 20 years of experience in the design, documentation, and construction of a wide spectrum of building types.
His experience in architectural technology has been tested and proven on a variety of new and existing facilities. Brian’s practical understanding of the technical challenges posed by solving physical and aesthetic problems within tight budgets assists tbs’s clients in complying with schedule and budget requirements while achieving the desired results for their facilities.
Meet Our Team
Lauren Whitney
Project Manager
Project Manager Lauren Whitney, alumnus of Philadelphia University, has been a part of the tbs team for 16 years. She has worked on a variety of project types specializing in the design of roof systems. Lauren also enjoys building assessments, infiltration investigations and construction contract administration.
Greg Peterson
Project Manager
Project Manager Greg Peterson has worked with us for 11 years. He is a graduate of Philadelphia University with a BA in architecture and a minor in Construction Management.
Bernard Rebancos
Project Designer
Project Designer Bernard Rebancos is the newest member of our team and brings 6 years of experience in Window Wall on various projects in the Philadelphia area, as well as 6 years of experience on Design fabrication for Ornamental, Metal, and Glass. He is a graduate of Bicol University, Legazpi City, the Philippines with bachelor’s degrees in the Science of Architecture and Industrial Technology.
